Trade missions
Teampro’s primary objective for organizing trade missions is to initiate and stimulate trade relations between The Netherlands and East-Africa. Teampro arranges the program, its content and logistics, the company visits and match-making sessions and guides the incoming African delegation or outgoing Dutch delegation during the trade mission. Thanks to subsidies (provided by Dutch Ministries, Dutch governmental organizations and European funds) the fees for participants are (usually) limited to transportation and accommodation costs.
The trade missions are intended to function as an eye-opener. They aim to broaden the view of Dutch entrepreneurs and to show East-Africa is a serious business-partner. For African entrepreneurs missions serve as way to get acquainted with their Dutch counterparts, the Dutch technology and management in order to get a better understanding of what is available and to find ways to benefit from more modern methods of operating.
The trade missions create a favorable climate for Dutch & African entrepreneurs to get acquainted and explore business possibilities, with regard to import and export, transfer of machinery/technology, cooperation in production and investments.
Teampro aims to strengthen trade relations at governmental level by involving Dutch and African governments, since public support and involvement will improve East-Africa’s economic image and stimulate sustainable trade relations between both continents.
Feasibility studies
Teampro conducts feasibility studies on behalf of Dutch entrepreneurs that wish to cooperate with African enterprises and analyses what is required for implementation of the envisaged project.
The feasibility study is made up of:
- Description of the project & expected results
- Description of the partners
- Market analyses
- Cost analyses
- Coordination and assigning of sub-projects
- Planning
- Conclusions and recommendation concerning the feasibility of the envisaged project
Match-making
Teampro was founded to facilitate the start and maintaining of sustainable business relations. Due to broad experience gained by organizing seminars, trade missions, conducting feasibility studies in The Netherlands and Africa, Teampro acquired a large network, thanks to which Teampro is well positioned to find potential business partners in East-Africa for Dutch companies. Teampro mediates for companies from all sectors, that want to sell/invest their products, know how (etc.) in East-Africa.
